We have noticed an increase in the number of unrepaired pitch marks and poorly repaired divots on the course in recent weeks. It is expected that all members repair pitch marks and divots both during social rounds and competition golf – this will make for a better course for all to enjoy.
We would like to encourage members to chop their divots in instead of just filling them with sand, sand buckets have been removed. We also ask that you keep an eye out and chop in any other divots you see on the course – not just yours.
Please click on the attached link to better understand how to chop in a divot. If you are still unsure of this method please contact Jim Danas or Conor Brown in the pro shop, as they would be more than happy to give you a demonstration.
